I thought "Oh it's good that the number plates were captured" but the bottom of the article says they're false.

You know what though - that driver didn't leave home thinking 'right, I'm going to kill a cyclist today'. He just didn't look, or looked and thought he had time to pull across. And if they find the driver they'll charge him with careless driving, at most.

Really hope they find him, if only for the guy's insurance.

I'd have thought the cyclist would contact the MIB in this case.

That definitely shows the need for having a polarised filter on the camera as it stops the reflections and so in this case the driver would be seen. Hopefully somewhere in an accident and repair bodyshop a repairman will put two and two together and do the right thing and call the police.

I know exactly where that is, it's actually in Iver not Slough on the junction of Langley Park Road and Mansion Lane.

Without knowing the full facts and not wishing to cast aspersions (then going on to do so), there is an area nearby where the car probably came from and the Bib would have little/no chance of finding the culprit even if they found the car.

Not obviously a stolen car. Many people run their own vehicles with cloned plates to avoid Speed Cameras/Fuel payment etc..every chance that car/driver can be traced. Hope so.

Someone commenting on the article already has. Apparently it's his fault because he wasn't wearing hi-viz. And people wearing helmet cams deliberately cycle into cars.

He left the scene, I'd like to think he'd get more than that.

Shocking driving and I hope they find the driver and throw the book at him, but, it doesn't look from the video like the guy alters his path when the car starts to cross lanes?
