Cheap tyres at Halfords of all places!

You may have seen my other thread about how long you get out of tyres. I thought I had 23C Contis but they're actually 28s, so off I toddled to the internet in search of new rubber. Despite the fact that they've worn quickly, I rather liked the Rubino Pros that I'm replacing, so I searched for them.

They're £17.99 pretty much everywhere (Wiggle, CRC, etc), but Halfords not only have them at the same price, they've also got 25% off a second tyre, which seems something of a bargain if anyone's looking for new rubber.

Halfords are often cheap for Conti's - worth checking online though, as they're cheaper than in-store.

Last time around I bought a Rubber Queen 2.2 for £8 after I reserved online (shop told me they wouldn't price match their own site) they rang them up and added the 25% off in-store discount too!

It's just a shame they only seem to stock the crappy thaiwaeese 'normal rubber' OE Conti's and not the German made Black Chilli ones - huge difference in performance imo I can't run the cheap ones on the front.

Had a quick look and they seem to stock 4000s Black Chilli as well as most others in the range.

Decathalon are normally pretty cheap too, they still have Michelin Pro3 for £20 and Pro 4 Sc for £23 albeit in 700x23 only
