Single track school - Surrey Hills. Anyone used them?

Evening all,

The above have a weekend skills course which I rather like the look of.

Has anyone on here tried any of their courses?

I've never used them but if you're looking for a skills day, take a look at UK Bike Skills.
I did a singletack day with Tony and Nathan at UKBS and it made a hell of a difference to my riding, well worth the money.

Looks interesting, but unfortunately a bit Up North for me.

Distance notwithstanding I can heartily recommend these guys - brought my riding on years in a few hours

Same for me as well. Brilliant day with Tony and Nathan on a drops and jumps course and confidence has improved so much now!

I did the one day advanced course with my son. It was good fun we learned a fair bit about trail riding in the uk finishing with a 1m drop off. It's fine for uk trail type skills but they way they teach jumps and drops is not right for steep downhill tracks. Fun though and good value.

That sounds fine for what I'm after, thanks. I'm much more about getting more enjoyment out of technical XC stuff than I'll ever be about steep downhill. I tend to run out of nerve before anything else!

I travelled up there from Surrey (just over an hours drive), it was a great day

Tony's place is very well set up and allows you to easily build up to bigger stuff

I'll be going back again at some point
