I've been using this Muc-Off C3 Creamic Dry Lube 120ml
So which lube should I use? Should I get a "wet lube" even though summer is supposedly here?

I use finish line wet (sparingly) keeps things quiet, though does get a bit more dirty than the dry lube, but I find that makes noise still.
White Lightning Epic Ride. Not too wet and not too dry, use it on all my bikes, best lube I've used. The bigger bottle is best value.

Made the mistake of using that stuff once - left the most filthy black mess all over my drivetrain after a very short distance that took a lot of cleaning to get off!+1 for the Finish Line dry lube though - the Muc Off stuff does seem to wash off a bit too quickly.
GT85 is the devils urine. Hateful stuff. I use finish line dry or ceramic 'dry' as opposed to wet ceramic, which can make a chain look like black death in no time, although is good for mud plugging on the singlespeed mountain bike or city slicker mtb , which doesn't get washed more than twice a year.

I use Redline Shockproof gearbox oil on my chain. Works very well indeed - it creeps right inside the chain, and stays there. It's not cheap by any stretch of the imagination, but mine is leftover stuff from a mate. The chain on my commuter bike has almost 6000 all-weather kms on it and is showing 0.5% wear, so I think it performs pretty well

I use that. I don't have the problems you mention. But then I don't re-lube the chain after every ride. Are you cleaning the chain fully first? muc said:

Weldtite TF2 on chains and pedal clips, everything else gets a squirt of GT85 after a wash. Seeing as my bikes are mainly used for XC and cyclocross racing they get washed on a regular basis, as well as strips and rebuilds with fresh grease at least every two months or so.
