Anyone seen this before? cracked saddle.

Washing the bike the other day I noticed this.



Now, I know I need to lose a few kg's but this took me by surprise.

I've been in touch with the supplier, and I'm sending it to them for their view. Luckily I'm out of the country all next week so the bike wouldn't have been used anyway. Plus I was always going to replace it as it was a little too narrow for me.

Just thought I'd ask here to see if anyone else has seen it before.

They're a consumable item, generally expensive ones (that looks like a cheaper saddle?) are better out together but they still do show signs of fatigue after lots of use

It happens to fancy saddles too if you're fat enough. Mine had broken in two places - I don't know long it had been broken, but it was still comfortable. Good excuse to change it having spotted the second crack though!
