Halfords 10% off weekend, anyone know when?

As above... I'm about to sign up for another bike on the C2W scheme and want to pay as little as possible, naturally.

I'll get the BC 10% anyway, but was wondering if anyone in the know might have some details of when/if Halfords will be doing another discount?

Any other tips for making a saving using Halfords?

Even the staff I've spoken to often don't know in advance when they are coming up - with the exception of the October - November and December weekends last year.

There is a way to get another 10% off but that doesn't apply to cycle-tp-work scheme (buying with discounted vouchers)

Most of the cashback sites are usually offering 3-4% but I wouldn't imagine this could be used in conjunction with the C2W scheme.

Some fine bikes in Halfords. Just is case you didn't know, they will convert their vouchers if you want to buy from numerous partner stores,,,

Im seriously considering getting a Boardman Team CX as a winter bike/daily commuter (to join my Boardman Team FS MTB and Pro carbon road bike!)
I had a sit on one on saturday and asked the chap when the next event was, and he didnt know (think he was an asst manager). Sounded like he had a discretionary 10% discount he could give himself - he implied that was available if i wanted to buy it, although when i talked about my BC discount on top he was less keen!
I reckon there could be one at Easter....
Alternatively, sign up to Quidco and "watch" Halfords - the other day they sent me 10% off discount code that was unique to quidco (ie, not broadcast on Halfords own website). It was only for a few days and has since expired.

Can someone explain how the vouchers discount works? Presumably you need to organise that in advance so you are ready to swoop when the in-store offer is on?

Theres discount on now online("spend and save") which equates to 10% off £600 on bikes (finishes today - wednesday 5th March).

See 'spend and save' on the cycling page(ie £10 off £100, £20 off £200 etc up to £60 off £600.

Tempted by a Boardman CX but can't decide on CX Comp or CX team though - Team doesnt have carbon fork - would that be that much of an issue on potholed roads?

Not sure about the feel on the road, but the Team shaves over a kilo off the Comp (10.3 vs 11.5)

Now just one further question - sizing...

Does the 50cm option on Halfords relate to the XS (52cm) or the SM (54cm)on the Boardman site???

In the Q&A it seems the Halfords 53cm option is classed as the MD (56cm) on the Boardman site...

ETA - The Halfords sizing seems to be the ST measurement from the Boardman site... But both the XS & SM have a ST of 500...
