200km Audax,
Ok chaps this ones pretty much on your doorstep if you stay in the West of Scotland and a cracker it is too with some nasty wee hills on it but nothing too bad at 2550m of climbing. Route, here...CLICK
Entry is £10 from here...CLICK although you need to pay an extra £2 for non members or don't if you've a CTC card.
For those who've not done an Audax event before a few things to note, You must be entirely self reliant, there's no rider support, no broom wagon, sag wagons are not included, neither is food although there's always tea and cake at start & finish (free) so you buy your own or carry it with you. There's no goody bags, no medals or any other tat handed out at the finish. Ferry ticket is included in the price. Remember Audax is not a race, it's about getting round within the allotted time (usually 14hrs) so well within anyone's grasp.
