Free to a good (or bad) home......

Just clearing out my cupboards and came across a few Karrimor bits that I don't wear anymore, free to a good home;

> Black padded Karrimor shorts in Medium (never worn - were a present from the other half a couple of years ago - been in the wardrobe ever since).
> Black Karrimor running shirt in Medium (worn a few times as a baselayer but good as new).
> Black/orange Karrimor long sleeved jersey with reflective piping (worn a couple of times but in good condition).
> Black/blue Karrimor long sleeved jersey (again, worn a couple of times but in good condition).

If there are any takers drop me a PM, I would prefer collection (Binfield nr Bracknell). If there are no takers by tomorrow morning then they will be going to the local 'charidy' shop......

Now this will end up with us getting mistaken for one another if we're not careful. I've got a fair bit of that 'SportsDirect special' Karrimor kit. I found it comes up quite large, and is more of a 'mountainbike fit' than snug roadie.

I've got a mostly black with orange bits long sleeve top, size small, and a mostly orange with black bits long sleeve top, size large. The 'large' was bought when I didn't have time to try it on, and had been forewarned about cycling kit "coming up a little small". I rectified the mistake the second time, buying a 'small' although that's still quite generous when it's on. If I'm buying more 'Italian' brands, then I need a Large or an XL at least

The Karrimor stuff isn't the best fit or fabric quality, but it has lasted well, and is good for an extra layer, or for saving my 'good' kit when I know I'm going to get caked in mud. I wasn't a fan of their shorts, though, as the padding was woeful and they had a ridiculous drawstring tie waist thing going on. Tying the chord caused discomfort, and not tying it caused the shorts to slide down. They went in the bin after a while.
