Brilliant - will hopefully bring back some memories of a great ride. Definitely one of the best continental sportives I have done (compared to multiple etapes and the marmotte)

Jesus wept, this is frightening.... They are a danger to themselves and the other road users at the moment!. Doctors, do as we say not as we do!?....

Well if I hadn't watched that with my own eyes I would never have believed it was possible

Four more unlikely candidates they could not have found to do this task and yet the youngest and oldest completed it...Well done them

That was insane on more than one level! Rather odd that there was so little concern from the new to riding doctor when he was told that the lady had hit her head and was obviously dazed!

I can sympathise with him though; I learned to ride a bike one easter holiday when I was about 13 having found an old clunker in a shed when my parents bought a new house. After that I didn't get on a bike again until I was 29!

I was screaming at the TV, it was ridiculous, it was a tough challenge for a recreational rider, let alone novices. It was reckless letting the guy who couldn't ride up the UK hills where he kept coming off with cars passing him!! Talk about idiotic.

The older Dr did brilliantly, really nice natured guy, he was right in identifying that the descending would be tricky and risky. The younger slim guy did great, you could see they would both make great cyclists with more time.

I felt sorry for the lady who fell over .

The other guy who only just learnt to ride, I was screaming at him to MTFU. He needed a woman to push him up the hill!!!! What the fck were you expecting when you signed up for the show??? Then he did one hill in the Pyrenees and said "Thats it I'm all out, too tired", whilst skipping around with a grin on his face. No mate- you are all done when you are passed out on the floor gasping for air, not grinning like a Cheshire cat.

Whilst I'm having a whinge, who the fck fitted their bikes, a couple of them looked like they were 2 sizes too big!!

Shame was a good idea but was too much too soon . The two that completed it did really well though
