New helmet time - recommendations!

As the new year looms, and after using my Met Forte for the past 3 years, I want something to replace it. Its been a good quality and decent value helmet however, I fancy moving up in quality a little, and would spend up to about £90.
I need to try them on ideally I know, but looking at designs, MET still seem to have some really cool designs. I like the Estro but havent seen them in any of the LBS.
Local does Spiuk helmets but know little about them
I know someone who has a Rudy Project Sterling which is tempting me as I love their designs and remember seeing Rudy as a aspirational brand in the mags when I was a kid.
Any recommendations for something that wont break the budget yet is stylish, comfortable with decent features? What do you look for in a helmet?

I'm still using an old MET helmet off road. Label has turned to mush and there's no model name on the shell, so don't know which one. That was OK when I got back into road riding in cheap shorts and on an older steel frame, but as I built up a collection of Lycra, then upgraded my bike and clothing, it was no longer 'in keeping' with the roadie image, so I relegated it to off-road only.
It's replacement for the road was a "UVEX Boss-Race" https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=UVEX+Boss-Race&a... in white (carbon-look white, no less!). I got it cheap (near half price) in a deal on Amazon. It looks the part, as in 'proper roadie', not at all 'mushroomy' and has a great fit, really good adjustment, is well vented and comes with a bug net moulded into the front part. If I were replacing it now, the only thing I'd want to change would be a full bug net instead.
Having a second helmet is good too, so that I can wash and dry the pads in one while still wearing the other, as I often get a really sweaty head in warmer weather.

Hmm, never considered UVEX before but like the look of some of their designs! Might have to go and look in the local Halfrauds (it does appear they sell them) to see if they have any in stock in the store.
I really need to get out and actively look for both helmet and new glasses. My glasses are completely scratched after dropping them and as theyre cheap I cant get interchangeable lenses anymore.

Very light, very comfortable, they have extra adjustment for the bottom of the back of the head to make sure it sits correctly, and are really well vented. I would not buy anything else.
Following quite a bad crash last year it definitely lessened the head injuries of a friend of mine - including the back of his head as after the impact of the crash he fell backwards onto the tarmac.
