Any good deals out there at the moment?

I need a half decent pair of tyres for my Scott Genius. They don't need to be enormous mud shifters. I'll mostly be riding the sandy trails of Sherwood Pines.

Was all about panaracer smokes when I last bought a pair. They seem to be a special order relic these days. We're they really that good?????? I guess not seeing you can't buy them anymore.

Schwalbe black jacks any good?

My current favourite are maxxis high rollers LUST but with an inner tube, basically puncture proof. They are narrower than claimed so don't get caught out, I have 2.1 on my XC bike and 2.3 on my Freeride. They look more like 1.95 & 2.1 respectively.

Depends what you ride. Nobby Nics up front and Ralph on the back works for me for most of the year - natural forest trails with plenty of roots where I ride. Another Nic goes on the back when the going gets heavy.
