Gar in Virtual Partner

I was lucky enough to receive a Garmin Edge 510 today as a late Xmas present. I've got the virtual partner working using an average speed but if I upload a gps route I have ridden before, will the partner ride that route so I can compare myself against a previous ride?

Yep, if you save as a route it'll go against your best effort.
