In which case you missed nothing. It was the 1 hour combo of the 'making of' and then 'Imaginate' to finish off. I watched it upstairs on a small screen, but then when the wife had finished watching whatever she was watching, I cranked it up on the TiVo box on YouTube, and watched it in glorious HD. What a film, and what a rider! Brilliant.

Out of bed, but in a wheel chair for the moment. That was about two weeks ago.

Not sure if he'll ever get out of it...

Was the Dave thing just a re-run of all the episodes that were posted online before the riding film was released? Or something different?

Yes and no, sort of an edit of all the preview episodes to condense them into 45 mins or so, then the actual film itself at the end.

I can't remember in what order they showed them online, but it would have been better IMHO to show the finished article and then the 'making of' done the other way, by the time you get to see it, you've seen all the tricks, yes it gives us a real feel of just how much Danny and the others have to put into it, but it would have been just as good after the fact.

I follow him on twitter and FB, plus a lot of people like Danny Mac, Steve Peat and Rob Warner who've visited him and reported on progress etc - as mentioned he's out of bed and moving in a wheelchair with a serious looking back brace - it's actually quite shocking how much bulk he's lost since the crash, he still looks fit and healthy, but not nearly as strong.

He's working on the editing for Road Bike Party 2 and is committed to finishing the filming for it, I guess only time will tell if he gets 100% again though, it'll be a long recovery I think.
