Has this been done? Apologies if so.
Was having a good poke round one of these today and seems like a reasonable bit of kit for 1500, with a fabulous looking frameset. Like the slightly subdued Celeste, too.
Other than 'Buy a a Dolan/Ribble/Boardman', what say PH?

I like it, looks really good :-)
I have 10 speed campagnolo veloce on my wilier, and I love it. I find it much smoother and more positive than the equivalent shimano and it'll quite happily operate under stress (still being a novice roadie, I never seem to be in the most appropriate gear before a big climb and end up changing down when I'm putting too much pressure on the pedals!)
Also I reckon Italian bikes are pretty cool

Those wheels are pretty hefty. Compared to the Bontrager wheels (Race TLR) that come on Treks as that price point, you are looking at 2140gm for the Bianchi's wheels vs 1720gm.

I had one until a 4x4 sideswiped me. Really loved it. Not as fancy as the italian bikes, but I don't really go for that fussy aesthetic myself. All a bit Beppe DiMarco.

i just bought a dolan tuono for a touch over the £1600 i wouldn't swap it. i have a mix of chorus and veloce on my other raodie, shimano on another, and the sram really is the best of both worlds in my opinion. as reliable as shimano, and as postitive as campag on a good day.

Looks a nice bike, needs a proper double on it though, not a compact for the mummies boys :P:P
I'm running Shim on one bike and Campag on another and I prefer the Campag, like a poster above its on a Willer, the Shim stuff looks and feels twice the price, but the Campag works faultlessly and is more precise. I haven't adjusted the Campag setup once in 18 months , yet my Shimano setup needs tweaking every fortnight, the change and shifters are not half as good as when you are putting some speed on. I love how you can trim the campag front mech from the shifter to get it in just the right place if you hear it catching a touch.

Nice. Veloce is a nice entry level groupset. When it comes to replacing bits though it can be a PITA. A lot of bike shops just don't stock campag kit and have little idea about which bits work with which. When the pads wear out don't buy veloce replacements as they're a very expensive single moulding - get record or similar compatible set (separate pads and shoes) and then you can just replace the pads in future.

Mine have just gone, so whilst looking to change, I've upgraded to Centaur and they are really good!!
