I was called a fat cu*t and subject to a barrage of abuse from a johnny vegas lookalike in a dihatsu on trade plates on the Jamaica road yesterday morning....I still don't understand what I did besides overtaking slower cyclists.

Someone said that to me the other day with real malice in their voice. Instead of being offended, I spent the whole day with a sodding huge grin and a bounce in my step :-)

Former fat git reporting in, 36" waist two years ago, 32" when I took up cycling in April, now hitting 28" and having to do another wardrobe revamp as damn near nothing fits (funnily enough apart from my constantly expanding cycling gear wardrobe).
At least I've started putting weight on very recently, not getting any bigger though!

I have a Dutch neighbor who is not backwards in coming forwards who asked me if I had cancer a while ago because I had lost so much weight! Cheeky cow, probably feeling the fittest I have since my early 20's!!!
