What to do tomorrow?

I have a free day tomorrow and I have two choices

I can either do this

(its supposed to rain quite a bit earlier in the day, so it looks like I'm getting wet at the start)

Isle of Wiggit would be my choice.

But living as far as it is possible to live from the sea, a coastal route will always swing me

Was planning a long ride myself for tomorrow, as I have the week off, and tomorrow is the only day both my kids are in nursery all day. But my son has bad croup, so instead of an all-day ride, I get to watch Peppa Pig with Darth Vader Jnr! (Poor lad, obviously I have sympathy for him, but annoying timing, all the same!)

Meh, he can look after himself for a few hrs, I'm sure.

At 17 months old, he really should be able to cope on his own, shouldn't he!? I could actually stick him in front of Nick Jnr (which has become Nick Peppa for October) with some snacks and I reckon you're right! He probably wouldn't miss me either.

I do have a child trailer, so a short bike ride is in order, but it won't be more than 10 miles, as he has the attention span of a......well, of a 17 month old!

Oh, by the way, out of those two rides, I'd go for the Isle of Wight one, just because it's there!

How much is a last minute foot/cycle passenger ferry ticket then? Can you just pitch up and get on the next ferry?

You can just rock up. Ill prob go from Lymington which is half hour away rather than Southampton, and its £6.60 each way.

Well, it's only 180 or so miles each way from my house to Lymington, which should be fine on my full susser with the trailer on the back! That's tomorrow's little ride sorted then!
