Rapha (Sky) jersey sizing?

Can anyone who owns one of these (http://www.evanscycles.com/products/team-sky/2013-replica-short-sleeve-jersey-by-rapha-ec047274) advise on sizing? Apparently their size guide is way off any people order 1 or 2 sizes higher than normal.

How do their sizes compare with Gore for instance?

I am 5'8" and 63kg if that helps for comparison.

Sorry, I meant that the Rapha sizing guide is way off, not the Evans one.

If you click the compare jerseys it shows that one is a race cut, so go up at least one size

I've found the sizing bang on tbh. I'm a 41" chest and my large base layers, club jersey and long sleeve jersey are perfect.

Same here! It's become a bit of a bugbear of mine when looking at cycling gear reviews online. You get loads of reviewers saying to go up one or two sizes, then I order my usual size and its a perfect fit! Are some people just in denial?!

Just had it with a Gore Oxygen GT waterproof jacket; loads of reviews adamant that two sizes bigger is a must, I order a medium and it's spot on, with room for a base layer and jersey! It's madness I tell you!

Same here with the club and classic jerseys. The race cut jerseys do come up much tighter though, so if you want a more relaxed fit order up a size. It even says so on the Rapha site:

NB: The Pro Team/Team Issue jersey is very close-fitting, please check the sizing chart as you may be a size-up from your normal Rapha Jersey size.

I just had a look at the website and almost laughed out loud. £120 for a pair of cycling gloves??? £1,500 espresso machines??? Hats off to them, I say.

Nah, I'm going Assos I think, bought an 851 jacket (in medium before you ask!) and its great.

Rapha stuff looks nice, but I don't agree with their whole image etc.

I think I would have to turn that pro contract down if Team Sky came knocking on the basis I wouldn't want to be wearing Rapha

It's all about epic suffering, you obviously just don't get it.

There's good money in funding mid life crisis activities. (You get what you pay for etc apparently.)

....or you pay as much as you want to, thinking that you are getting 'more', when what you're actually getting is very little/no improvement in function/utility for a whole shed-load more cash.

What a lot of people seem to underestimate is that with bicycles, it's all about the engine.
