Thomson Dropper post

Internet shopping is showing the Thomson Elite dropper at £280 at the moment with the Rockshox Reverb at £200.

Does anyone have any reviews or experience of the Thomson post, in comparison to the Reverb or just as a piece of kit?


Is it as good as internet mythology would have all Thomson kit is or just another option?

I've been pondering too but I've only recently fitted an Elite normal post so I will keep that for a bit longer. And this is pathetic but I love the simple lines of my bike (Cotic Soul) and am worried a dropper post would clutter it up!!

I'd go Thomson though for sure.

I can't speak for the Thompson but I have a Reverb and it's bloody lovely, knocks the arse out of the Joplin it replaced!

KS Lev every time. No cable looping on the post and the cable itself uses wire as opposed to hydraulic so much easier to maintain. also adjuster button is better designed so no danger of breaking off when you turn the bike upside down.

Gravity Dropper. Cheaper than the rest and pretty much indestructible. Simple to maintain too.
