Pannier rack for rear suspension

Is anyone aware of a pannier rack that can be used on a bike with rear suspension. I would like to get one for my Giant Anthem as I would like to travel the route from Inverness to Glasgow.

that has two panniers that fold down each side, plus of course the main bag carrying area.

Not cheap, but excellent quality. Can hold around 7kg...

Topeak are the Daddy, but as stated very expensive.

I bought an Ebay special of similar design to the Topeak bag for £11 and was pleasantly supprised by the quality. I just couldn't justify the Topeak price for something I will use very rarely.

If you can wait a couple of weeks I'll review it after our mini tour (weekend of the 21st)

p.s. I've got a hardtail so have a normal rack on the back to hold it.

Other option is to tow a BOB yak or the one with the suspension - I forget its name now.

Having cracked my Anthem frame at the top tube/seat tube weld I wouldn't recommend hanging anything off the seat post for any length of time.

I'll sell you my old hybrid for £60 which is quicker than an Anthem out on the open road.

How about just using a dry-bag or some sort of holster strapped to the seat/seat post? Most people who bike-pack properly off-road on mountain bikes don't use any form of racks due to the fact they add extra weight, struggle to allow any form of suspension and if they fail tend to do so catastrophically, usually miles from anywhere.
