getting stains out of jerseys etc

OK how the hell do I get the white bits on jerseys etc clean?
Very low temp wash and they are getting grey....

It doesn't help there's some hair dye in there after getting caught in a downpour. (Its waist length, yes I dye it, this thread seems ripe for endless mockery.... But a hint would be appreciated)
