Bottom Brackets.

What's what? Just removed my old, quite crap FSA crankset, the bottom bracket is full of crap and I want a new one. Already got a Tiagra crankset ( for my winter bike ), what BB do I need? What's the difference between them all for future reference?

Depends what year yours is, google brings up both pressfit BB30 and truvativ screw in cups. If you can see external cups then it's the type I linked to above. If it's BB30 then your Tiagra chainset won't fit without an adapter such as http://www.evanscycles.com/products/wheels-manufac...

It looks like the type you linked to. The Tiagra chainset fitted into the old BB ( when I say fitted I mean it went through and there wasn't much play, whether it would have actually worked I don't know )....
