My inseam, measured as best as I can, is about 31.5" (80cm)
I've seen a Scott Speedster 20 for £799 which seems excellent value (£999 everywhere else) however, it's in a Large frame only (56cm).
Is this too big (not heard back from shop) for me? Size guide says 54cm frame for me, but I can't see how much difference 2cm will make? Doesn't the seat sort out the rest?
Sorry for being a numpty.
Failing that, there's a Scott Speedster 10 in my size for £999, but that's more than I wanted to spend really...now i've realised i'll need pedals and shoes again!

How tall are you?
Really though, you need to try a bike before you buy it, as geometries vary.
The shop got back to me, says I won't have any stand over and ideally need the medium. Considering it's costing him a sale, I think I should trust him!Really though, you need to try a bike before you buy it, as geometries vary.
I'm 5'10" without my high heels on.
