Nooooo!!!! Part two... with added ouch!

So, after missing out on my ride last night when my seat post snapped, I decided to get some miles in this morning.... I can remember the first 14 or so miles. I can remember finding an extremely nice Police Special sergeant on a police mountain bike.....
I have no idea what happened in between, but I'm now sat in Epsom hospital with bruised ribs, skin off both arms and legs and I'm waiting to find out the results of a CT scan, at which point they'll tell me if I can go home tonight, or I'll have to stay in for observation! This has not been my best week for cycling.

That's the oddest part... I obviously (from the state of me) came off whilst I was off road, so must've cycled at least 3/4 of a mile or so until I came across the policeman, but I have absolutely no recollection of doing so. I reckon I'll be able to work out where it happened from my Garmin when I get the track uploaded.Have they told you where you were found or what they think happend?
ks! The side of my head would be looking like er.... my knee right now without it! 
I've just told them I'm not bloody staying in over night now they've told me there's nothing wrong on the scan. Apparently I have to wait for a porter to take me back to A&E so they can let me go!

I had something similar happen. Was cycling along happily. Next thing I knew I woke up on the ground to the sound of the rear wheel clicking to a halt. Got up, brushed myself off but was in a dark country lane. It was late. Very late and very dark. Didn't know where I was. Somehow got home. Wife looked at me to see grazed face, shoulder arms and leg. I was distressed. She called 111 and ambulance came. Did various tests. Conclusion: I was drunk and needed to go to bed. Apparently I had had a couple of libations that night.Is there anything you have not declared in your tale?
