Anyone else doing this on Saturday?

It'll be my first sportive and really looking forward to it. I'll be on my old steel Peugeot (sort of bronze colour and lots of chrome) and a Peugeot jersey so say hi if you seem me.

I guess not, but what a fantastic ride.

My first sportive so a bit apprehensive on not having done anything like the 68 mile distance in one go before, but found it remarkaby 'easy'. The route and weather were perfect, little wind, a few degrees down on recent temperatures and a nice rolling route round the lanes to the west of Stratford.

Was with a few chums on much more modern machinery than my old steel 6-speed Peugeot and still mananged a faster time than any of my group, despite them apparently drafting each other in order to catch me up at the end...
