Hi all, thank you for the help/info on my last topic about the argos carbon bike, and to look else where. I did just that.
I went to lakeside decathlon store today, to try out the triben 3 (red one) road bike. This bike has had a lot of good reviews on line about it. I thought I was going to need a 54 size frame, and they had them in stock.
After chatting to them for a bit, it turns out a 57 size would be a better fit for me.
They had it in the white frame triban 3 bike, but when I was looking around I saw a fit 5 in the correct size.
As far as I can tell, it is the same frame/forks as the triban 3, but it has different gears and a flat bar.
So after a couple of laps of the store, and a lot of talking later, I was the new owner of a fit 5.
