It seems my trusty Isaac Force is coming to the end of it's lift. The bottom bracket has been replaced yet there is still creaking coming from the area. It has been suggested the aluminium shell inside is coming loose.

So, I guess I am on the look out for a new frame set. It has to be a 56, and I'd like it to be race specific rather than sportive orientated.

No idea on budget, up to 1k I guess. Ideally I'd like something with the biggest discount possible smile

How about £449?

Won't do better than that for twice the money.

So you've ordered one then? They've got my size too but I can't justify it at the moment as my Scott Speedster is only 3 months old (with 9 months of salary sacrifice to go!). Otherwise I would snap this up, a 950g carbon frame for £450. There was a thread on here a short while ago (One for the MAMILs?) suggesting they were being sold on at a profit on eBay...

Just checking the size required against my bike fit of a few years ago, and providing they came back and say I need a 56 then yes.

Well I purchased the frame around 11pm last night, and then couldn't sleep! It's been sent today, and should be here tomorrow. Build pencilled in for Wednesday smile

Thanks for the heads up!

I don't need a new frame at all, but if they had them in XXL I'd snap one up at that price!

Will the forks off your Isaac match?

Do you need us to spend some more of your money for you? smile

It comes with forks. Under 3lbs for the frame and forks would you believe.

I could really do without spending more money, I just ordered a new seat-post as my Isaac one is a 27mm and this needs a 30mm.

And last week I purchased new shifters, cassette and chain....

I do however need help on how to advise my girlfriend that I have just purchased a new bike!
