In case others doing it miss it www.pudding-lane.com in Seascale are taking advance breakfast orders for the sportive. Stopped there on Sunday morning and picked up a card - address is [e-mail] - portions were suitably generous, and staff very friendly.

Brilliant, no am staying in Gosforth night before with my old man, driving up from London Friday avo. Hope to see you at some point and say hi

Great stuff, wound down the training this week and already getting itchy feet! Looking to set off as early as possible in the two hour starting window. Feel free to say hello, you'll probably pass me as I've no time based goal, other than to finish before it gets properly dark

You and me both, the friend I'm riding with wants to go off at 7am, but will try to get off earlier as I feel it may take a while. My 95kg is made for a Hardknott ascent..... bugger
