Sram xo brake adjustment and lefty fork cateye question

Im the proud owner of a new cannondale flash 1 which i got yesterday. However ive a few questions......

Its got sram xo brakes, and ive read the online guides but i cant get the brake to firm up enough. Ive got the taperbore to its max, and the 2mm reach is correct. Can i remove the caliper and push the lever a little to make the pads come in a bit? Is there any other way?

Next, its got a carbon xlr lefty fork , how do i fit my cateye wireless?

Also , how do i tweak the XTR rear mech as there isnt any cable winder near the mech?

Apart from just making me jealous, there should be a Harrell adjuster on the shifter unit to tweak cable tension to the rear mech.

Not sure of your other points though.

Why are you having problems with the computer fitting? Fork sensor should just fit with a few zip-ties, no?

Yeh theres a adjuster on teh shifter. Id never noticed that as usually adjust them at the mech end. Thanks for that.

The fork has nowhere really where i can mount it, as the brake caliper , then the suspension boot cover most of the fork.

The range of the transmitter should be stated on the instruction leaflet, for the 'Strada' wireless computer, it says "do not exceed 70cm" and remember that the receiver (the back of the head unit) must face the transmitter/sensor. It might work with the transmitter/sensor on the seat stay, and the magnet as close to the rim as it will go, but to get the receiver 'square' on to the sensor you might end up leaning forward over the bars to read the display.

If you've already bought the computer, grab some 'Blu Tack' and fettle the position to see if it will work, before you use waste the cable-ties that come with the computer

(and thoroughly clean/polish the area where the rubber pad will sit, too. Any grit under the pad will wreck your paint job over time, although having said that, PROPER ragging of an MTB should leave you with a less than pristine finish anyway)

It will work fine on the rear. Fitted my Garmin today that has to go on the rear as its got the cadence sensor and speed built into one unit.

What size did you make the wheel when you measured it.

brakes are sorted now.

Not rode them again yet but feel good.

Ive found a mount for the cateye to fit a lefty for £13 so that looks like the way ill go. Alternative is a garmin 200 at £85 but since i use strava on my phone dont think its worth it.
