Best place to sell "NEW" bike??

As a prize at work I won a new Boardman Pro MTB recently. She's a lovely thing, about £1000 worth plus some extras like lights, DMR pedals, carbon bottle cage etc. Trouble is my cycling days are behind me as was confirmed by the ride home from Halfords when I collected it. In a month it's the only time it's been outside I'm ashamed to say. I have checked and can't return it & get a refund so wondered what do people think is the best way to sell what is essentially a brand new bike. As said, all in its worth almost £1100 if you wanted to buy from the shops but I know I won't get that much. Do I risk it on eBay, is there much call for such thing on gumtree or are there specialist places for such thing. Also how much would you think reasonable to ask for it? It owes me nothing but I want to get as much as I can obviously.

www.bikeradar.com/forums but don't price it ridiculously. It's still a second hand bike, albeit an unused one. Probably don't expect too much more that £700-750

£700-£750 was about what I thought would be reasonable so I'm glad I'm not being daft. It's a lot of brand new bike for that but as you say, still technically second hand.

Put it up for £800 and then take a bit less, you will inevitably be beaten down on price a bit

I'd be a bit more optimistic. Put it on EBay for 900 buy it now with best offer option. Set that to bin anything less than 875. You'll see what lower bids are with that method. If it doesn't sell it will only cost a few quid for the advert.
Also it avoids the whole auction process & last nano second bids trying to steal it!
Recently I sold a very little used Brompton with that method. I paid 900 for it 2 years ago, sold for 800 cash..

I've got one of these too. Never ridden. Size large. Still got wrappers on it and receipts for Halfords servicing.

Bought two only used one.

Other is for sale, so will use the suggestions here.

I'd say that was about fair, bearing in mind the almost constant 10% discount on their website, plus 10% available for joining British Cycling, plus cashback through Quidco etc.

Mines a large but the sizing is a bit odd from what I can tell its about 18-19" frame.
I'm going to take some good pictures and pop it on a few places tomorrow I think. Just don't really like eBay personally, would rather a good old fashioned sale.
