Richard's Bicycle Book

Read this book front to back avidly several times when I was a young lad and still have my copy somewhere. Just found out that author Richard Ballentine passed away last week.

I'd actually made his aquaintance in the last few year's as we both had dogs and used to bump into him regularly in the local park. Had absolutely no idea who he was just knew him as "Richard"....someone else went to the funeral today and told me that they'd learnt he'd written a famous book about cycling.
