I've scraped together some cash to buy a fabby cyclocross frame to build up with discs. Here are the contenders:
Foundry Augur. Love it. Problem with this one is that it looks like involving a trip to the U.S.
Condor Terra-X 2011. Drawbacks include the funny bulging top tube and more importantly the rapha overload factor, given that i wear the softshell and backpack...
Van Dessel G&T. Yummy. Maybe the geo is a bit laid-back. Maybe the alu-carbon combo would turn out to be a bit squiffy. Dunno.
Kinesis Crosslight Pro6. Not sure what's wrong with this. Perhaps a bit loud.
On-One Dirty Disco. Yeah! But...Meh.

I've voted for the Kinesis, they really know there stuff, have put numerous bikes under a lot of the top cross riders in this country. Had an early Kinesis and loved it.
As for the other options, depending where in the states they come from they don't always have the mud clearance, which in this country can become an issue especially if you only have the one race bike. I've got a carbon/aluminium road bike it's very comfortable and as yet has not given me any issues. I'm currently runnnig a Cannondale SuperX, which is full carbon, the one big thing that is concerning me, and now use helicopter tape, is the way the mud can start cutting in to the chainstays when the tyres start getting built with mud, never had this concern with anyother bike, but it's probably the fear of the unknown, rather than anything rational.
Why are you looking at the frame and fork option, have you already got everything to built a complete bike?

Interesting. See, the geometry on that is completely different to the frame on which I've been thinking about pulling the trigger - it has road bike proportions with a long seat tube and short top tube. Which seems right to me because i like a bicycle to be responsive. Plus I like the price.

I can't see disc options for Alan or Guerciotti, and Ridley put me off by not offering me customization options with their affordable frames like they can't be bothered for the low-grade mass market stuff.
This was never going to objective, but I'm trying my best.
