Can't wait to get out on it tomorrow! Came in at 22lbs which I'm pretty happy with, obviously I could have built it lighter with a carbon frame however I love Ti!

That frame looks fantastic...

Was looking at this today... http://www.wildside-online.co.uk/item/GENLATTIFR/g... which does look a bit of a bargain...

I've never felt the impulse to fondle my bike frame, but I think I'd struggle not to if I owned one of those.

Great looking bike, cracking components - consider me jealous! wink

Fantastic, nice to see the pictures of all the bits in one place. Looks spot on, be interested to see what the ride report is. Got to say you can't go wrong with Chris King, we pay a premium for it this side of the pond, but it seems to just keep on working.

Thanks for the comments, I've got King stuff on all my bikes, like you say it lasts! Got this stuff from the US!

I seriously like that, the very subtle splashes of purple with Ti work really well!

Pretty, pretty, pretty!

Love that. Now to:

a. get riding again
b. save funds for a Ti frame
c. spend said funds before OH can find higher priority for them

I was struck by the way the bike looked so wrong in the photos without tyres, then how right it looked when the rims were properly wrapped. I never thought about it before, as I've always 'tyred up' before mounting the wheels on my bikes, so have not seen them without.

Very nice indeed cloud9

As someone said further up there ^^ the temptation to fondle that frame must be constant.

Now, just to sort cyclist OCD can you ensure the Schwalbe logo is lined up with both valves please biggrin

Haha! I thought I had lined them up with the rim stickers! Not changing them now as they are tubeless! Sorry!!

Just looked again at this, and how many bikes have you got there, not just the ones hanging on the wall, but there is a frame on the floor as well. Seen less in some bike shops.

Helix twist
Twisted Titanium
To enable the Pro29 to compete against the stiffest carbon frames, Lynskey used its Helix top and down tubes. By radically twisting and shaping the titanium, engineers claim they can boost the tube’s stiffness by 30 percent. Company sales manager Don Erwin explains how it’s done: "A round tube is pulled through a die-press machine and turned—literally by hand—as it is being cold-formed into the diamond-twisted tube."

^ This I like.

Nice build, if not a little too much purple, but then for my taste, any purple is too much purple. wink
