What replacement bike?

As some of you may have seen I was recently involved in an accident and have since managed to settle a compensation with a claim to get myself a replacement.
The crashed bike is my 6 week old Giant TCR advanced, such a shame. Although I am able to keep this and will use it as an expensive turbo bike!
I have been to the LBS today to see what's about and have come across this bad boy on special offer.
It's a cannondale super six apex, On offer at £1300 from a so called £1800. I haven't been out for a ride yet but wondered if anybody has any experience of this bike or comments on what you think I should do.
In the shop they also had an extremely sexy Cervelo s2 frameset at £999. I fell in love but was told a basic build with 105 and mavic aksiums would soon push the price out to >£2000. Whilst I understand this would be a fantastic bike I was trying to keep the price down so I could buy some other goodies (garmin, new shoes etc).
What do you think?

What's the spec of the components of the SuperSix?
I ride a CAAD9 (105) and although I don't really have much to compare it to as it was my first serious bike, the SuperSix I think is the next one up in the range over a CAAD frame. It would therefore come down to the groupset it was fitted with as to whether it constituted good value, but as far as I understand it is an excellent frame.

It's SRAM apex for a start, I didn't take much notice of the wheels - names and models don't mean much to me at the moment. I was planning to look on the web when I got back as the shop was busy.
Cannondale looks nice, but part of me really wants the cervelo s2 now I seen it. Does £1250 sound about right to kit up the frame set with 105, some mavic aksium wheels and some boggo bars etc?

Sounds a little bit toppy. 105 groupset can be had for £400 or less. Aksiums are less than £200. Granted there are a few hours of labour, so I reckon they're telling you RRP prices on the components. I don't begrudge the LBS from making a living by the way, but I reckon they can budge from there

Went down to the Cannondale Supersix 6 from my OP or the Cervelo S2 frame.
I set a strict budget of £2k, so my choice was:
Cervelo S2 on 105 and mavic aksiums - £1999
OR
Cannondale Supersix 6, Scott Road Team Boa Shoes, Garmin 510, New look pedals and cleats, new gloves and £350 left to get me some shiny new ski boots.
After testing I settled on the Cannondale, lovely bike plus a lot of other toys. The Cervelo was hard to resist, but after riding the Cannondale I couldn't justify the extra cash for the S2. The Cannondale is a steal at the moment, my LBS managed to better the deals posted above.
Pick up next week!

Don't really know much about them but think I would have to go with the Cannondale Supersix 6. I have a Cannondale mountain bike and if the build of the road bikes are like the MTBs then they must be good!

Tri-uk seriously pissed me off a couple years back so I avoid now!

I'm in Somerton so they are the closest place. Prefers my old lbs in Shepton mallet to be honest but tri are handy for little stuff like break pads etc I can recomend there old style gillets though. Very warm Tri-uk seriously pissed me off a couple years back so I avoid now!

get the Cervelo, buy the components separately from ribble, wiggle or the overseas places like rose and bike-discount.de
you could build up the S2 with 105 or Apex, some nice Deda stem/bar and bits and some Fulcrum 5s for under £2k. Just look around and make the compromise on bits as you see fit. Bolt it all together but dont set anything up, give it all to a good reputable shop and they should only charge £100 max as its far closer to a major service not a build, give them all the pieces in boxes and they will charge double.
try Bad Ass Bikes in Burrington Combe for the build, they are not too far north of Shepton Mallet and a really great shop.

Thanks for your input pablo, but I decided on the Cannondale. you could build up the S2 with 105 or Apex, some nice Deda stem/bar and bits and some Fulcrum 5s for under £2k. We managed to get the numbers down to less than £2k for the Cervelo. But at the same time managed to get the numbers even better on the cannondale.
My £2k budget either bought me:
The Cervelo on 105 with Mavic Aksiums or fulcrums with deda bits and pieces.
OR
The Cannondale Supersix, Scott Road Team Boa Shoes, Garmin 510, New Pedals & Cleats, New Gloves & cash left over to get new tyres for the back of the S2000 (Road bike has more grip than the car at the moment!)
Whilst the Cervelo was sexy I couldnt notice the difference on the road and the Cannondale deal seemed ample and much better value for what I need.
