Where to buy a used single speed road bike?

Right well I'm looking for single speed 'road style' bike, something along the lines of the one in the image below. Anyway, have a budget of £200 so can't afford anything new, so looking for something second hand. Other than Ebay / Gumtree / LFGSS classifieds, any other suggestions as to where to look? Also, any experiences on owning a bike like this? Recommendations of bikes?

As unlikely as it might seem you might find a single-speedable bike for £20 - £30 or so at your local council's recyling depot. You need to look for an old racing bike with horizontal drop outs and Bob's your uncle.

A mate of mine's lad supplements his pocket money by buying half decent bikes from the recycling centre, strips and cleans them up and sells the frames and any decent bits on eBay. He does OK - true story!

specialised langsters may come up for sale around that price but you will need to be quick. the viking ones you can get for around £200 new dont seem too bad...

Pinkbike or Bike Radar might bring back some results, can't help on brands though as I've never looked into them before.

I've got a 2010 Langster as a winter bike and it's great, although mine's not quite standard TBH. They're a reasonable weight, stiff, the kit is perfectly good and the ride is pretty comfy.

Just as a resolution to this thread, picked up a Flyer today. Bought on ebay to £235. Other than a few cosmetic scratches, it seems in good mechanical condition.
