Cannondale F2000SL Owner - what MTB next?

Hi all... I don't get over into PP often. I'm mainly a runner who enjoys road biking - currently got a 2010 Boardman Pro Carbon which I find to be excellent despite the snobbery - however I find myself in need of another MTB, and in need of advice.
I currently have a Cannondale F2000SL (circa 2001) that I love, however the other half has made it hers. This leaves me riding my cyclocross bike when out with her. It works, but it's bloody uncomfortable.
I want something as good, if not better than the F2000. I'm a weight weenie at heart - I love the Cannondale as it's so light (IMHO). Part of me says to go for a full suspension bike just so I have the full set, but I don't really need it.
So basically, what should I be looking out for on eBay etc... alternatively if anyone has an medium Optima framed (I think) F2000/3000/4000 I would be very interested!
