My new purchase!!!

After doing a lot of research and trips around LBS's I finally purchased my bike and I think I got a bit of a bargain! I went with the Cube Agree GTC Pro 2012 and only paid £1K for it, a saving of near on £600. Not bad for a full carbon frame, fork and Ultegra groupset!

Chuffed to bits with it and it's my first road bike so will last me a long time! Not using SPD's yet as I dont want to post in THAT thread yet

Interesting that they have made it look as though it has really thin tubes - retro styley. I assume they aren't that thin in reality?

I've got a GTC Agree SL - the frame is amazing, soooooo quick, stiffer than Amy Winehouse & climbs like a mountain goat. Fantastic bike for the price.

Really pleased with my Cube Peloton Race bike. Not as snazzy as the carbons, but one day I will get an Agree. Never knew much about Cubes, but 135 miles and a week later and really like mine a lot.

The downtube isn't thin, it is the white paintwork against white background doing that. However the current frame (introduced on the 2012 model as above) is almost impossibly thin around the seat tube/top tube/seat stay area.

Really happy with it and been out again this morning, it's so surprising how easy it feels going up hill. It's like there's hardly any resistance from the bike and just picks up speed if that makes sense?!

The tubes are something which really appealed to me and the almost "rectangular" top tube looks really smart!

I'm like a kid at Christmas, can't stop looking at it

I got it from Freeride cycles ( www.freeridecycles.com ) in Disley, Cheshire. I know they have totally sold out of 54cm frames in all the Agrees but I think they had a 58 left in the GTC Pro and two 54's and a 56 in the GTC.

I will say we bought two bikes off them as my dad bought one too which helped on the discount front. He got a 2013 Agree GTC which should be here end Sept / start of Oct.

Lovely bike matey, the had one of those in with Dura ace on but was well and truly over my budget. Looked stunning though

I have just bought the model below this (GTC I think) with the 105 group set, and I love it! It is a great looking bike and very smooth and easy to ride. I thought I had a good deal with £250 off, glad I didn't wait until the 2013 model as it has lower spec group set for the same price.

I am no Brad Wiggins but having a good bike has motivated me to get off the sofa and start riding!

Yes I sat on the GTC and was going to buy it at 1k but thought I'd be cheeky and see if I could get the pro for the same money and they said yes!

That was a cracking deal, I guess a lot of the dealers are clearing stock in preparation for 2013 models.
