Used mountain bike wanted!!

Last Sunday I had that dredded " hot / cold / deaf " moment when you realise your bike has been stolen from a locked shed... I was shaking I was so angry. If I ever see the little s*** riding it it will take all my willpower not to wrap my Ford Transit round his neck I assure you.

BUT I desperately need another bike as I have a few rides planned imminently. I only have available £1,000 but want full suspension. After getting this months magazine I concur that a Boardman Team FS at £999 or a Scott Spark 60 (ex demo I have been offered at just over that, very nice.. )are two options. But I am open to a second-hand FS bike as long as it is not a nail. I am about 5'8" and 12st so a medium frame is best. So if anyone has one they are considering selling please PM me or phone [phone], I have cash waiting upto £1,000 for the right bike. SE preferred, I live near jct6 M25 but will travel an hour or so, no problem.

I'm going to be selling my Marin wolf ridge full sus very soon. Whilst a few years old it has had little use and the front and rear suspension is the same that was used on this years model.

Thanks Paulmon, but you are in the NE and ideally i wqould like to try the bike for size before I spend that large a wedge!

Ideally South East. But erring towards the Scott at the mo if nothing comes up.

I was about to sell a trek fuel Ex8. Fox front and rear suspension, xt/lx groupset, Standard Bontrager bits all over it and Avid juicy 5 brakes. There are some marks on the frames from stonechips and bike lifts, Overal its in very good condition. It was serviced 3 weeks, it had new cables, brake pads / bleed and front suspension service. It has covered around 200 kilometers since then. I'm in Benfleet so if you want to have a look you are welcome. I'm after £850 for it.

Oh and at the begining of the year it had a new cassette, chain, bottom bracket and chainset.
