Hello Can anyone explain the difference between the Cube Peleton models ,i know about the entrance level model but there seems to be others ,Triple,comp,SL,Fach3 etc etc etc thanks .
Can`t me much difference between the models beacause thee all about £1000

http://www.cube.eu/en/service/bike-comparison you can run the spec alongside them here, in short, it would appear the frame is the same and they have slightly better components the more you pay but its not a major difference and mostly down to personal preference regarding the chainset

The Peloton is in my price range around £1000 All the Peloton models except the entry model are all the same price ..
What is the difference ..Like the thought of three rings on the front but the two ring pelotons have a small front ring so im even more confused .
Been offered carbon bikes for the same price but the Cube looks right for me ..
the two ring models are either a 50/34 or a 53/39 but with a rear casette - the cogs at the back 
- to offer a similar set of ratios as having three cogs at the front. triples are for the weak. real men ride 53/39
the frame isnt great. its 6061 alu which doesnt have the strength to weight ratio compared to 7005, it would put me off the bikes personally, what are the carbon bikes you are being offered?

Im only a novice did some 10 mile time trials 20 years ago with the old 753 frame ,mavic rims and full canpag.
I just fancied the peloton compac , i just don`t have the legs anymore ..Why are they offering a triple ?
What are your thoughts on the Forme full Carbon..

I bought a Peloton Race a few months ago in preference to a carbon frame Ribble basically because my LBS did me a good deal and a test ride, which I couldn't get on a Ribble, showed it fitted me beautifully.
Frame aside, the spec was better also. The ride from the Alu frame can be harsh but I've done some longish rides including an 80 mile sportive and haven't had any problems with it.
I'm a novice road rider so opted for the 50/34 and am glad I did as the ratios are perfect for my obviously weak frame

worth every penny for a nice carbon frame and forks and £500 off is a bargain.

Thanks ,im going down to the shop tomorrow .Is it a full out race bike or will it be ok with a novice like me ,heard stories where people buy a to extreme bike and regret it.
The bike is a 2011 model but unused .
Back to the rear cassette is the 53/39 lower geared? Could the rear cassette bet left alone then have a smaller front ring ,which is the best way to go if changing ratios.
I may struggle with the gear ratios with the carbon bike so want to know the best way to lower the gearing slightly .

Forgot to say they have a Forme Vision at just over £600 old stock ,Think it was over £800 ,would it match the Cube Peloton Race version at 1K This may be the one to go for !
