Should I just go for it? Road bike...

Quick question... Been offered a 2011 Cube Agree GTC Pro - Full Carbon Bike:

I'm desperately trying not to get swept along by how good it looks, and consider my options carefully, but I've been offered it at such a good price it would, quite honestly, be silly to pass it up. Especially considering the reviews it gets and the fact that being full carbon it will be nice and light.
I currently ride a Cube LTD Mountain bike, and spend a lot of my bike time cycling on that with the family, but a couple of mates are getting into their road bikes, one of which is quite keen for me to get involved with triathlons with him again, (It's been several years since I did that I may add). My gut instinct is that if I pass it up I'll regret it, but I'm also questionning how much use it will get if I don't get into riding it, plus it's been such a long time since I was on a road bike I don't even know how I'll get on with it...
I guess the only way to find out the answer to some of these questions is buy it and see, but... Any comments which may sway me either way? Or shall I just go for it and sell it if I don't get on with it?

It's always a bit of a gamble buying a secondhand carbon frame (if indeed it is second hand) but, if it is all that it should be then I would say 'Yes'.
I recently bought a Cube Peloton Race (so recently that I'm still wearing MTB shoes and helmet) because I couldn't afford anything better, but even this is a revelation on the road compared to a mountainbike, or just about any other kind of bike.
If you do buy it I'd be very surprised if you don't use it, particularly when you've got a bunch of mates to ride with.
