No it seems to have two brakes... (although I'm not entirely sure the front is connected)

I have seen a Dunlop bike exactly like that unboxed it comes with the front wheel pedals handlebars all off the bike and cable tied to the frame.

I see this every now and then and cant help but wonder if the cyclist thinks its normal for the front wheel to always be trying to turn around

I think it's the opposite? it looks like the caster wheel on a trolley, so should behave like that, i.e. strongly seek dead-ahead. Although you've also got a shorter than intended wheelbase. And presumably massive toe overlap.

I sort of want to try one now
