Can anyone suggest a place to get GT spares from please? (not betd)
I broke a rear suspension part on my gt sanction last year & have so far had no luck with anyone even responding to emails.

It seems a shame to scrap a decent bike but I had similar issues trying to obtain the suspension bearings last year, having to source then from the Netherlands after a great deal of time searching.

Alternatively spec me a manufacturer who is able to support the bikes they sell, I'm liking the look of canyons

depends what part you mean, is it the frame or the shock? if its the latter then contact the shock manufacturer, if its the former then you are most like buggered if its an alu frame.

never really heard of people have a problem with spares, but as i said, it is relevant to the part required, normally its just mech hangers which are easy to find.

canyons are nice, I keep eyeing up the grand canyon 29er.

I had the head tube on my orange ST4 develop a stress fracture last week while in Scotland. Emailed them on the bank holiday weekend and got a reply at 9.15 on the wednesday morning, called the bloke up, spoke to him, and on Friday on my way back home to Cardiff I dropped the bike off in Halifax (my home town too!!)

They can't repair the frame because of where it's fractured and they haven't got any more front triangles because my ST4 is one of the original designs. So instead that nice man from Orange had dug out a more up to date complete frame and will paint it whatever colour I like with all new bearings and dissassemble and reassemble my bike, and post it back to me. £300.

More than happy with that.

I thought the sanction ran std headset bearings for the main and i drive pivots?
