Original Lotus track bike for sale

Over £5k already! It's a real icon but I'm not sure what you could do with it other than hang it on your wall, although it would look great.

I can think of a lot of things people have hanging in their houses that cost more than what that'll go for yet don't look anywhere near as good.

When I worked at Lotus they one of the bikes sitting in reception with flat tyres and a fine film of dust on it.

I was itching to try and pump the tyres up and try it!!

Fixed gear, no brakes - sounds like the ultimate hipster bike to me.

I have the TT700 Hotta based on that machine, it's lethal in wind

same designer iirc... mike burrows went on to design for giant and you have him to thank for the rather excellent tcr range... a very VERY talented guy and very down to earth in the flesh. his original windcheatah was awesome, as was his monoblade fork design which did make it into (smallscale) production.

Fecking hell i remember building those in british eagle cycles in the mid 90's.The bottom bracket inserts do fall out if the bb is over tightened even slightly....
