Mavic Rear Wheel - cassette Q - Help!

Anyone here know about wheelbuilding?

I'm looking at buying a set of Mavic wheels but is it a standard rear hub fitment to change from 9-ring Shimano to 10-ring SRAM?

To fit a 10 speed shimano cassette on a Mavic 9 speed hub requires the use of a small spacer that will be supplied with the wheel/hub.

I am guessing you will need to use this spacer with a 10speed SRAM cassette but I don't run SRAM so am not 100% on this
