Value of frame?

Decided I am going HT and beady eye on a carbon frame.

I have a Blur LT Classic frame that needs one bearing fitted (about £18) - it had new pro bearing kit fitted about 18 months ago and hasnt been used since (shock was serviced too by mojo).

Going to punt it and this isn't an advert - but any ideas on a reasonable price if its sold as is before I ebay?

I am very out of touch with prices these days so any advice appreciated.

get the bearings fixed. it will sell quicker, maybe for a bit more than expecrted too. its a nice frame, if its sold needing repairs peopel will be put off, even if its just bearings.

value is subjective, year?, condition?, are you including the bb, headset, seat collar etc etc?

A general guide is 1 year old = 50-75%% of original purchase price dependant upon condition, maintenance, servicing etc and 5-10% off that per year.... but then not many Blurs come up for sale so that will affect the value...

rrp was about 1700 so you're probably looking at £800 max assuming the rear shock is in good condition.

I was planning on getting a new bearing before selling - as you say I think it would put people off otherwise.

I think its an 05 vintage where they beefed up the rear so it can run larger tyres.

Its got a fair bit of rubbing but its a good solid frame with no dents etc. Hope headset would be included as the new HT I want has the new tapered set up.

Rear shock was serviced then never used (RP3 I think) - I am still loathe to sell it but looking on ST forum they seem to be around the £450 mark which would probably be about right.

Its just the constant maintenance that puts me off, its expensive enough replacing bits without worrying about bearings and front/rear shock servicing all the time.
