Nike Poggio shoes - anyone using them?
Discussion
I had a pair of these a few years back and remember that they were very comfortable and very light.
A pair is up for auction on ebay in my size (44) and, whilst that olive colour wouldn't be my first choice, my memories of the shoes are good enough to make me consider bidding
Now, are my memories a bit rose tinted? At the side of newer shoes would they be no good really?
Should I just go the whole hog and get a wool jersey and some nice leather lace ups with holes in?

I have a pair in gloss black which i really love - to the extent i am reluctant to wear them should they get damaged and i cant get another pair. They are very light and stiff and i prefer the simplicity of the velcro straps over all the over complicated ratchet mechanisms of other brands.
If they are in your size.....buy them.
