Not seen many about and never ridden one and not a make I've heard much about over the years but a uni friend had one for ages and loved it and I love the look of their current road bikes - anybody here ridden one/ride one?

Should have gone to Specsavers? That thing is damn fugly but each to their own wink IMHO Litespeed died when Mark Lynskey finally left

Had my Litespeed Ultimate for nearly 5 years now - always love riding it, has a beautiful smooth ride that is typical of titanium, may not be ultimately as stiff as an all carbon bike, but for a whole day in the saddle it's much more comfortable.

This bike is from the phase when Litespeed were using titanium main triangle with titanium mesh/carbon forks and rear stays - so a nice mix of materials

only thing to watch out is that Litespeed did experiment with integrated headsets on both road and MTB frames and these are known to have an issue with cracking around the headset area - mine suffered this and had to be shipped back to th US for a new non-integrated headtube to be welded in. At least it was covered by their lifetime warranty !

cheers - Tb

I've got a Litespeed Vortex - best bike I've owned or ridden bar none.

The old Litespeed (when still "Lynskey") were about as good as Titanium got. Not sure now. Mine is as nice as any carbon bike I have ridden and more comfy. Not sure I'd buy a non-titanium Litespeed and to be honest, if I were in the market now for a TI, I'd look at Lynskey

Haven't got one yet but hopefully within the next couple of months the C1R will replace my current race machine.
I think they are sweet!

well spotted - yes it does, but the clearence is small, it's got a fairly "racy" geometry and the rear wheel is tucked nice and tight - also has cut out in lower seat tube if you look closely
