So I bought one finally and it seems pretty decent so far. Competed in the NRCC hardriders 25TT today and it was nice to have all the data there in front of me rather than a watch and a computer etc.
However I am having a cow trying to get the ride data uploaded. Registered with Garmin etc but when I try to login to Garmin connect it doesnt recognize the details. When I go back to dashboard and login its fine. Anyone else had similar issues, I just dont understand what is falling over?
The course was quite lumpy and there were soem very quick riders out on there. Thouroughly enjoyed myself and set a half reasonable time, although nowhere near our fast guys at the 1hr level!
Any help on the Garmin would be great, its very annnoying.

Had exactly the same problems with mine, turned out to be corrupted files but its still doing it now.
Contact Garmin customer services on 0808 238 0000. They have the facility to remotely access your computer and interrogate the unit.

How is the map?
They only come with a very basic Garmin map as standard; you need to buy the OS maps as a pack when buying the unit which IIRC adds about £30 to the price.
It's pretty good in my experience, slightly pixelated at max resolution, but other than that not been able to fault it

Although saying that, it looks like the £403.99 has a City Navigation SD card - what do you need that for? It won't work in town without one?
Also, OS maps:

That's a disgrace! How difficult can it be to put B roads on there?! How much does a basic satnav for a car cost these days, £100? And that covers the whole of Europe!I want one but I'd just feel completely cheated.
