Been getting back into MTBing after a bit of time out of the saddle, and am reaching t he point where going for a bit of a rip around my local trails on my own is getting a bit dull. Think I need to find some groups to ride with now! Any recommendations where to find some? I posted on Bikeradar ages ago and nothing doing there (that forum seems pretty quiet tbh).

I bomb about Epping Forest - good range of trails though it's not a proper 'centre'.

Failing that http://www.london2012.com/hadleigh-farm ? wink

Yeah I've had a play @ Epping before - some reasonable trails for fun there! Hadleigh looks like a great idea, its only 12miles from me - any idea if its open to public use?

Heales Cycles bit too far - 50m+ round journey from here for me....

If you go on to bike radar or www.essexhertsmtb.co.uk They both have weekly organised rides. I have only been on one, as often I work long hours, but the one I went on was brilliant! I am planning to go on one of the Sunday morning rides in Epping, when time allows.

I live near hadleigh, you can't use the olympic track, but there are a couple of good hills to ride up.
