Trek 9.8 Bottom Barcket.

I need to change the bottom bracket on my MTB which is a Trek 9.8 (2010). It isn't fitted with a standard BB as the bearing are press fitted to the frame. The crank (XT M770 Hollowtech II) then just passes through these, no bearing cups etc. From searches I have done it is listed as BB90 but I have ordered one of these from JE James and when it arrived it was incorrect as the bearing had 2 different diameters. Does any one know what I need to order, or do I just buy replacement bearings off fleabay. Would prefer the proper kit as I would hopefully also get new seals. Any help appreciated.

I didn't know Shimano did anything other than standard axle/bb size.

So you would need some keep of BB90 to Shimano sized converter

Thanks for that, did a search and nothing came up. Looks like the right thing although mine hasn't got the sleeve running from the one bearing to the other.
