What a beautiful day for a ride?
Discussion
SUn shining, not a cloud in the sky, 11' outside and 0% chance of rain. WInd dying down completely.
Dilemma is how far and the usual what to wear?
Have a new L/S windstopper Gore top that want to try but may be too warm - I run hot!
What a lovely dilemma?
(Near the start of December)
Oh well - Sausage sarnie then ride or get on with it?

Just back. Short ride today - just to blow the cobwebs out. It was cold but with the sun on your back, it was actually very pleasant.
Both me and my riding partner had an off though - me as I went from road to wet grass verge on slicks as I failed to make the corner, and him as he swung around a corner on MTB spuddies on the road but on wet leaves. Both of us left a bit of skin behind but had a laugh about it and carried on, sorting out the damage to the bikes as we "discovered" it (his split chain link failed - my gears were never quite the same after I landed on the derailleur).

Better not say how beautiful my ride was then?
STill more wind than I would have preferred but for once headwind going 'out' so averaged nearly 3mph more coming back - back is generally slightly uphill though so that helped enormously.
Very few out and I was the most sparingly dressed if that makes sense? New L/S Gore Windstopper may have done the job too well tbh. Need to get the hang of beautiful crisp cloudless days in late November riding in the Gloucestershire countryside????
Did wear some tights though and glad I did - although a good sweat on!
So Let's all hope for a few more crisp days before the rains come eh?
LOVELY.......

had a great day hunting By-Ways, Bridlepaths and RUPPs souht of Bristol today, 15 minutes with an OS map and not a soul in sight. it sure beats queueing at a trail centre for the singletrack sections. bike was riding really well, big thanks again to bad ass bikes for the suspension refurb (other bike shops are available yadda yadda).
